Licensed Massage Therapist, Jessica Lemon, RMP 02381, is a native of Baltimore, MD who has relocated from Raleigh, NC. She graduated Honors from Miller-Motte College of Cary, NC in 2008 and also became Board Certified by the NCBTMB organization. Jessica has 3+ years experience working in a Medical spa where she held the position as the Trainer and Lead therapist. Miller-Motte College awarded her 950 credit training hours for massage therapy with modalities such as geriatric massage, pre-natal massage, reflexology, somatic psychology, hydrotherapy, body treatments, myofascial release therapy, sports massage, deep tissue and trigger point therapy. As she watched a close family member lose her battle to breast and ovarian cancer, she developed a passion to help cancer patients. She then trained in oncology massage therapy in 2013 and assisted with volunteer work for Susan G. Komen as well as Raleigh Radiology performing chair massage on survivors as well as those currently undergoing treatment. Her experience has offered her the opportunity to work with clients battling with brain, throat, breast, ovarian and prostate cancer.
Some of Jessica’s memorable experiences come from working with high profile clientele where she would perform backstage, yacht and hotel massage for individuals in the performance industry including band members and the dancers.
At her previous position, Jessica also volunteered massage services for the Carolina Ballet Dancers for 2 years working alongside their on-site physical therapist to maintain flexibility and improve range of motion for performances.
She has sports massage experience in working with college and professional athletes (football, basketball, hockey and lacrosse) in both Baltimore and Raleigh.
Jessica describes her style of massage this way: “Each session is customized to the assessed needs of treatment. My approach is driven by intuition, energy presented and directed by the pre-consultation where I am able to discern the elements in your life that affect you the most whether it be emotional or physical demands. I have a sophisticated style that changes per each session as I am able to pull out skills attained over the last 10 years of practice."
Jessica enjoys learning new modalities so that she is able to incorporate them in all sessions to provide a long-lasting and deeper affect on all her clients. She believes in the “WOW” experience and that each of her clients deserve to have their expectations met in which she commits to give her all 100% of the time from first to last client.
